Erin Rossetta
Director/Teacher
Erin has been working in early childhood education for over twenty years as a teacher, director and a preschool owner and has worked with hundreds of children over the years. She believes children learn through play and learn best when they are emotionally safe. She enjoys setting up classroom environments that provide a lot of space for movement, creativity, and plenty of opportunities for the students to make their own decisions in their play and learning. Her favorite activity to lead in the classroom is circle time, especially leading the kids in movement activities and sharing stories. You should expect fun, laughter, and learning in her classroom space. Erin has two boys (8 and 6). For fun, she, her husband, and boys like to go out of the movies and play at the lake in the summer.
Tayla Starn
Teacher
Tayla is entering into her junior year with Liberty University for a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical and Educational Studies. She started dancing at 12 years old, focusing mainly on Pointe and Contemporary while participating in company teams. She performed multiple lead roles in Inspired Dance Productions, including the role of Alice in Alice in Wonderland, Glinda in The Wizard of Oz, the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, and the lead in Cinderella. During her time as a dancer, she loved the opportunities she had to worship through dance and encourage young dancers to grow both in their dancing and relationships with Jesus. Along with teaching dance the past three years, she has been a private tutor for four years and a nanny for five years. She is excited to now be teaching preschool, as she loves helping young children grow and seeing them explore and learn new things!
